Document Translation

ASET provides timely technical translations into 135 languages and subjects, including:

For complex reports or documents containing graphics, our Creative Services team can reproduce all photographs, diagrams, tables and other graphical elements, creating a final translation that is a mirror image of the source document. Camera-ready formats can also be delivered in Adobe InDesign, PageMaker, and QuarkXPress, among others, for high-quality printing and publishing needs.

Exploitation (Triage and Gisting)

For intelligence community (IC) customers with large volumes of documents, ASET's expert linguists quickly review and triage documents to assess relevance and can produce written gists or abstracts of source documents to help determine whether a verbatim translation is warranted. We also provide scanning and OCR (optical character recognition) as well as translation software tools to support data mining efforts.

Foreign Media Analysis (Abstracting)

ASET’s expert language analysts are experienced in tracking and in reviewing foreign media and providing political, economic and technical summaries to facilitate a broad range of government analysis requirements.  Our linguists are trained professionals with specialized expertise in cultural, religious and political doctrine analysis.  These experts review foreign media to locate key intelligence, emerging and/or continuing trends, or other information of interest.
