Translation Project Manager

Help ASET International continue to be a leader in the translation industry by acting as a Project Manager in our Commercial Translation Services Department. ASET’s Project Managers manage multiple translation projects from start to finish and coordinate all the resources and tasks required to ensure a quality translation project (documentation, website, software, DTP projects, etc) is delivered on time and within budget. This requires working with freelance linguists worldwide as well as internal resources, like desktop publishers, quality control specialists, and engineers.

Project Managers must be able to work with people of diverse backgrounds and multiple clients. Must have experience in the translation industry or another relevant industry!

Skills Required:

• BA/BS degree
• Prior Project Management experience
• Knowledge of a foreign language
• Excellent computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Well-developed customer-service skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Exceptional eye for detail and a serious commitment to accuracy and quality
• Interest in working in a multi-cultural environment
• Ability to organize, prioritize, problem-solve, and exercise independent judgment
• A high degree of initiative and the ability to function as a committed team player
• Experience with Trados or other CAT tools preferred
