ASET International Services LLC (www.asetquality.com) is a premier translation, localization and conference interpretation service provider, located in Arlington, VA. ASET provides a full range of language translation solutions for documentation, software, Web, multimedia applications and conference interpreting services in 150 languages.

We are seeking multiple qualified linguists to fill several full-time permanent positions. Linguists may perform a wide range of linguistic functions including, but not limited to:

• Translation to and from foreign language
• Interpretation
• Audio and Video Transcription

Candidates must have the flexibility to relocate within the U.S. if necessary and must be willing and able to obtain a high level security clearance with the Federal Government or already have an existing clearance. All linguists must be able to write in grammatically correct English and will be subject to a language assessment prior to being hired for this position. Some but not all positions will require overseas deployments.

ASET International Services, LLC is looking for linguists with the following foreign languages.

• Arabic
• Farsi
• Pashto
• Dari
• Chinese (Mandarin)
• Russian
• Kurdish
• Korean
• Uyghur

REQUIREMENTS:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITITES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• You MUST be a United States citizen AND willing and able to obtain a high level security clearance or already possess a clearance [please state in your response whether you have an existing clearance]
• You MUST score or have scored a minimum of 3/3 (DLPT or ILR) in the Foreign Language AND English. All linguists will be subject to a full language assessment. [please state in your response whether you have existing test scores]
• You MUST be a native or near-native speaker of the foreign language AND fluent in English. [your resume must clearly demonstrate your Foreign Language AND English language skills]
• You MUST have experience in translation to and from the Foreign Language, interpretation, transcription, gisting and/or summarizing content. [this must be clearly demonstrated in your resume]
• You MUST have excellent grammar in both Foreign language and English
• You MUST be proficient with MS Office
• It is highly desired that you be available during normal business hours (after hours is a slight possibility)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• You MUST have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. Graduate-level work preferred

PAY:

• Pay is competitive and includes full benefits such as medical insurance and paid time off. Annual salary is based on experience and qualifications.
