ASET International Services Corporation provides high quality foreign language translation and interpretation services to the government and industry. ASET’s Government Services Department (GSD) is seeking a talented Translation Project Manager who will be responsible for managing translation projects from start to finish. Tasks include recruiting, assigning, and managing translators, reviewers, desktop publishers, editors, interpreters and transcribers to complete and deliver projects to government clients. Other tasks include proofreading, copy editing, and formatting documents in English and foreign languages, complying with translation quality control procedures, and meeting deadlines.

The ideal candidate possesses native fluency in English and is fluent one or more foreign languages (Spanish, Thai, Dutch, Lithuanian, Latvian, Estonian, Romanian, Greek or Turkish preferred), and possesses translation, editing and/or project management experience. Experience or training in the legal field, for example, as a paralegal, or as a professional translator/editor are plusses.

REQUIREMENTS:

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Four-year college degree.
• Native English fluency with excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Fluency in at least one foreign language.
• Attention to detail and ability to use English and foreign language skills (including excellent knowledge of grammar, spelling, etc.) to check accuracy and completeness of translations or perform linguist tasks (such as QC, translation or transcription) as necessary.
• Excellent computer skills, including MS Word, WordPerfect, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Excellent customer relations skills and ability to deliver superior customer service.
